The Property

The Firecat Country House is set within the Southern Snowdonia National Park. The house itself dates back to the 15C and holds many traditional open beam features as well as the beautiful extensive fire place situated within the living room, which itself holds the original double bread ovens.
The dining room also features a log burner and traditional beams, so whether you are dining in with us or relaxing in the living room, you can be sure to have a fire to cosy on up to!

As well as breakfast, we also offer highly rated evening meals, all cooked on our converted Aga. Please contact us for information regarding evening meals.
We also offer a bar service and stock a good selection of alcohol. Please enquire to see our drinks menu. We can order [in advance] for any specific drink not on the menu.

Accommodation consists of three double rooms, one of which can also be booked as a twin [The Granary], whilst the others can be arranged to hold one guest bed each.

Dog Friendly @ The Firecat

We are a Dog Friendly destination with enclosed grounds within which the property resides as well as a further 5 acres a short walk along the Dyfi River within which dogs are more than welcome to be walked on/off lead - please note that horses graze here and so it is important that your canine family is livestock safe in order to keep your pooch and the horses from harm.
We ask that all dogs are kept clean and tidy during their stay with us, are not allowed on the furniture and are well behaved towards any other guests and dogs that are staying in and out of the common areas. At no time should they be left in the property alone.
We ask that you bring doggie beds, bags and towels with you, however we can supply these at £7 per dog.
